Do Something

If you want to make this world a better place, especially for those of us who are marginalized and denied our civil rights, don't just sit there and shake your head. Don't just moan about the state of the world or your state/city/neighborhood. Get out there and Do Something. Fight Out Loud did when the mayor of Ft. Lauderdale decided to use the city's own publication to spew his anti-gay hate. Check out their website to see for yourself. Fight Out Loud mobilized a writing campaign that caused the mayor to lose any chance to spread his hate using city publications and dollars. I applaud Waymon Hudson and Fight Out loud for being good people who "did something" and made a difference. You can too.
